Indianapolis Area

Town Run:
A 6-mile loop with some light features and small drops. Very well-kept
trail flows very well and can go fast on it if you wish. Great place to learn and run laps.

***Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park:

Has 2 loops roughly 4 miles long. Lawrence Creek loop (LC) and Schoen Creek loop (SC). Both are XC style and have lots of roots and rock gardens in areas water builds up as well as a couple skinnies. LC has a fun short downhill section at the end of the trail with a couple berms and drops. SC is slightly more challenging than LC but has some fun tech features as well. Everything on both trails can be bypassed. Trail drains slowly so be cautious after rain.

Rangeline Nature Preserve:
Located in Anderson, this has a green trail, blue trail that links to 7 other
black small loops that go back to the blue connector. The black sections
are not too bad with some features and tech but can bypass if needed

Southwestway Park:
Has a short climb to the top where 3 short downhill trails can be accessed,
has good flow and features. There are a lot of unmarked trails in the area
so be cautious if taking a trail somewhere it may just be an out and back.

Brown County State Park

The biggest state park in Indiana and offers a little over 30 miles of singletrack. Everything from fun flow to rooty and rocky tech. Head into the town of Nashville about 5 minutes away for some great food, ice cream, and a post ride beer from the local brewery. Tons of Hiking and camping available here as well. Trail system connects to Yellowwood State Forest if you are wanting a very long adventure ride.

Hesitation Point (Blue, recommend park at this lot):
A blue XC trail from the parking lot, does not loop back so you will need
to take Aynes, the fire road, or climb back up hesitation point to find your way back to the top

Green Valley Trail (Blue):

Some fast downhill sections along with long steady climbs. Nothing to crazy here. A fun trail for beginners to push there skills some as there is very little tech on this trail. A couple berms and a handful of different feature to bump jump off of. Nothing too crazy but is fun.

North Gate Connector (Green):

An easy climb if starting from the north gate parking. Is also a fantastically fun descent when returning to the parking lot. Nothing technical and no crazy turns. Truly just an easy trail that is very fast. Can push the pace greatly here and really be blazing down the trail if you want. Just be cautious of people climbing the trail if you choose to bomb this fun trail.

***Hobbs Hollow Flow Trail (Black Diamond- Flow):
Best flow trail with tables in the entire state of Indiana, recently built and
offers a long descent and long climb back to the lot up hesitation point or the fire road

***Weedpatch (Blue- Flow):
Shorter than Hobbs but has some good features and feels faster than
Hobbs. Flows very well and climb is fairly mild. Fun place to keep lapping if just in the mood for fun, fast, flow. I recommend starting from the northern trail head and ending by the fire tower.

***Walnut (Black Diamond- Tech trail):
Good warmup trail before hitting harder trails like Schooner and Bobcat,
links to Weedpatch too if you do not want to ride on the road to the
trailhead however I recommend starting from the eastern trailhead.

Bobcat (Black Tech):
Solid tech loop that is located at the end of Weedpatch. If your skills are up to the challenge this is a super fun trail. Beware as there is some exposure with tight turns. There is a wall on one of these turns known for breaking pinky fingers.

Schooner (Double Black Tech):
This is a grueling trail that you may have to walk a lot of. Some of the trail seems unridable even but it has been done before. Probably the
hardest trail in the Midwest. It is a good trail to test your riding and trials skills. Don’t recommend riding unless you are feeling adventurous or have solid bike handling skills. Good Luck.

Griffin Bike Park

A fairly new park in Indiana located in Terre Haute. They are constantly maintaining and adding trails. Currently have about 16.5 miles of singletrack. Contains tons of skinnies, drops, rollers, and berms. Has a pump track, dual slalom course, and a drop zone. Also has beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert jump lines.

Mega Pump:

A climb at the beginning with lots of roots leading into a series of 4 very steep and fast hills going straight down and back up the valley.

KA-BAR: (Black)

This is accessed with the advanced access trail. Contains lots of steep hills and wooden features riddled through out. Contains loads of features such as drops, jumps, and berms but be prepared to climb to the the top of each new section along the way to enjoy these. Has a floating bridge you cross. Don’t get wet.

Zulu: (Black)

This is a hand built trail and accessed from advanced access trail. Contains lots of ultra steep and fast going from ridge to ridge. Don’t use your brakes if you wish to make it to the top of the other side. Gravity is your friend here. Lots of features here as well. Very fun trail. Connects to KA-BAR.

Alpha Line: (Blue)

A short trail located off of Lake Loop. Has a very fun section at the end that feels similar to a true downhill trail. Contains a wall ride, rock garden, jump/ drop, skinnies, and roots. A fun trail to do a couple laps on.
